Storytelling that engages your audience, increases visibility and drives sales.

Do you have a powerful story, innovative idea or important message to share with the world, but can’t figure out how to tell it or where it belongs? Have you always wanted to get your opinions out there in national publications but don’t know the first thing about where to start? Or ever thought, “I should be posting more on LinkedIn,” and even though you have a million and one ideas can never seem to get them on the page?

Whether you want to get featured in the media or build your own platform (or both), visibility will grow your brand, build trust, and attract new opportunities.

Let’s turn the ideas swirling in your head into stories that land — with the right people and in the right places.

Tell me if this sounds like you: You know storytelling is a crucial part of your business but you can’t figure out where to start. Which stories do you tell and where. And, more importantly, how do you take the million ideas in your head and turn them into the stories you know will captivate your audience?

The type of support I offer is bridging the gap between editorial thinking and business needs. Maybe you’ve thought your business needs more publicity, but paused because you don’t know how to start. Or maybe you’ve want to start a newsletter, but wasn’t sure how or why that would help grow your business.

I offer comprehensive content strategy and publicity support for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to accelerate their visibility with stories. That looks like a roadmap to getting super clear on:

  • Authentic storytelling that excites your audience and energizes you to keep engaging and growing your business

  • Assessment on whether mainstream media should be part of your visibility plan at this stage, and if so, full support on how to get there

  • A full content and publicity audit so you can get clear on where you are right now and where you want to go

  • Support every step of the way to implement your visibility strategy

Content strategy for thought leaders

When it comes to storytelling, I’ve never met a business owner or soloprenuer with a lack of ideas. In fact, often times it’s the opposite: figuring out how to narrow down all those ideas, and focus them in a way that can actually resonate. Sometime that means going for big name publications, but other times it means drilling down on the specific message you want to share. You can think of this as your one-stop-shop for all of your content goals, dreams and aspirations.

The reason I can offer to work in this way because I have experience working in all different angles of communication: journalism, publicity and content marketing for brands. That’s give me insight to know this would make a great story for the business vertical at BI vs. this is much better suited for a podcast interview.

About me:

Hi, I’m Leeron.

I’m a writer and media strategist. I help business owners and entrepreneurs increase tell their stories better for their own audience, for podcasts, newsletters and mainstream media to increase visibility so they can reach the clients they want to serve.

For the past 10 years, I worked as a journalist, writing for publications like Salon, Forbes, Quartz, Slate, the Village Voice, the Observer, Popular Science, Business Insider, Popular Mechanics, Apartment Therapy and many more.

Along the way, I learned a lot about how the media works. What stories get attention. What stories editors are looking for. What makes an editor get back to your story idea within 7 minutes and say yes.

I realized so many business owners, service providers, entrepreneurs and people who have a message to share with the world could benefit from an understanding of the basic steps they need to tell their story in a way that resonates with their customers.
